The Year In Review: 20/20 Takes a Look Back at the Top 5 Videos of 2021
Our team is proud of the stories we’ve been able to tell in 2021. We’re thankful to be in a position to support a variety of industries and brands that are well-known across the city, region, country, and world. Looking back at the last year, we’ve been talking as a team about the stand-out videos that have helped take our work to the next level and wanted to share a few of our favorites.
Take a look at our favorite five videos from 2021 below:
Consumer Branded Content
CRAYOLA
Producing product demo videos for Crayola is so exciting for us because we’re able to produce such creative and unique videos for so many products. This year we produced marketing videos for 20+ products that are featured on YouTube and retail product sites for Amazon and Target. Crayola’s Clicks Retractable Markers product demo is unique because it demonstrates the power and inspiration of sound that a simple *click* can have.
Using creative sounds and custom graphics, our team was able to furnish a stylized workspace and combine fast-paced editing techniques, resulting in a soundscape of catchy clicks!
Healthcare
TEMPLE HEALTH
The COVID-19 pandemic is now nearly two years old and no other healthcare organization in the city has done more for its patient population than Temple Health. Temple Health allowed us into its COVID ICU units, to capture its innovative and patient-centered care during an unprecedented peak of coronavirus cases in Philadelphia. Our Healthcare Heroes video was used as an organizational thank you message on digital and social channels, boosting team morale at a much-needed time.
Apart from the thousands of views the video has gathered, the success of the productions can also be measured by the number of additional videos and messages Temple Health has been able to produce using COVID-19-related footage captured by our team throughout this unique time in history.
Tourism
VISIT VALLEY FORGE
“Make it Main Street” was an idea launched as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic, which disproportionately affected small businesses. Our team produced a campaign of more than a dozen videos celebrating small business in Montgomery County communities, encouraging tourism and patronage during a difficult time. In the most recent #MakeItMainStreet campaign, our production team sought to create episodes with itineraries, featuring our friend and host Dan Koob interacting with the business owners.
This campaign was memorable because of the number of unique businesses and people our crew interacted with on each shoot. Our team was able to tell the stories of triumph and inspiration that so many small businesses in the Montgomery County area experienced.
Non-Profit
BECK INSTITUTE
Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavior Therapy is a brand-new client of ours and our team could not be more proud of the work we’ve produced with them. Over the course of 15 months, we’ve delivered more than 80+ hours of finished on-demand course content for graduate students and professionals in a variety of psychology fields.
This engagement was memorable for our team because we were able to take an empty studio space and construct clinical settings with furniture and props to help achieve dramatically different-looking environments for each course. Also, the fact that most of the courses were captured over days and required hundreds of hours of dedicated video editing was a feat our team strived to achieve.
Education
TYLER SCHOOL OF ART AND ARCHITECTURE
We’ve worked with Temple University on other education and marketing videos before, but this was our first time working with the Tyler School of Art and Architecture. It was great learning about the art school at a university many of our staff attended as students!
It’s easy to produce such a creative and visually impactful video when you’re able to capture so many forms of artwork. This video was a unique production because it provided us the opportunity to tell so many personal stories from Temple’s diverse student body.
